Rockets Come to Woodlands
Rocket Day - 22 March 2018
Pupils from Woodlands Park Primary School spent a day building and launching rockets as the culmination of the year 5 & 6 Space Module. They learnt how they could be working on and flying the space crafts of the future.
Miss Sumner thought the day was superb and she was delighted at the curiosity and wonder the children showed throughout the day. The year 5 & 6 team were thrilled to have someone with such a wealth of knowledge to educate & excite the pupils.
Mike Grocott of Space Education Adventures said “I've been impressed by the enthusiasm and teamwork of the pupils at Woodlands Park. It is important that these young people recognise the fantastic opportunities that they have in being part of the future of space exploration, even here in the South West!"
